Description

7 and 9 Cromwell Hill are a pair of identical houses built in the early 19th century. They are timber-framed and rendered, featuring gabled slate roofs with red tile hips and ridge. The exterior includes a wide eaves overhang, flank-wall stacks, a ridgeline stack, and a stack that comes through the front roof slope on the party wall. Each house has a 20th-century two-light transomed window on each floor and a doorcase with a moulded flat hood, pilasters with roundels, and a panelled frieze. The doors have two tall semicircular-headed panels, with similar detailing on the reveals. The interior has not been inspected.
