Description

Help! is a bronze sculpture group created in 1976 by F E McWilliam, situated outside St John’s Arts Centre in Harlow. The sculpture features two life-size female figures in motion, either running or tumbling, as they grasp or brandish a square banner that reads "HELP." The banner resembles a piece of fabric and is complemented by drapery-like forms that envelop the women's bodies, leaving only their heads exposed. The entire piece is mounted on a circular brick plinth made of stock bricks.
