Description

This is a late 19th-century cast iron pump located approximately 15 metres south of Spiers. It features a fluted cap topped with a thistle finial and a handle that ends in a knop. The maker's name is illegible. Although the internal parts have been removed, they are currently held by the occupant of Spiers Farm. The design of this pump is similar to others that have been recorded with the name G. Ingold from Bishop's Stortford.
