Description

The barn west of Skins Farmhouse is a 17th-century structure. It features five bays and is constructed with a timber frame that is covered in black weatherboarding. The roof is ridged and fly-hipped, clad in red pantiles, with one hipped midstrey facing east. The barn stands on red brick footings laid in Flemish bond, which include some blue headers. Inside, the barn has a heavy oak frame that is arch-braced, with collars and side-purlins.
