Description

Roydon Lea Farmhouse is a late 19th century building featuring 17th century framing and some 18th century doors. It has a double range design with a ridged, hipped roof that is covered with lead. There are stock brick chimney stacks, one on each roof. The first storey has three small paned, horned sash windows set under straight brick arches. The central entrance door is half glazed, flanked by two wide sash windows, all with matching arches and stone sills. The property has historical deeds dating back to 1603.
