Description
Canons Barn is a barn dating from around 1500. It is nine bays long and constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring occasional blue-glazed headers. The barn has one aisle along the front and two midstreys, with a main roof that is ridged and gabled, while the midstreys are fly-hipped, all covered with peg tiles. The original great doors are missing, and modern windows have been inserted for its current use by the Golf Club. Inside, there is a late oak frame that is arch-braced, with jowlless posts and raking struts in the aisle roof.
