Description

96 and 97 Hare Street are a pair of semi-detached tenements built in the mid-19th century. The buildings are two storeys high, featuring one inner window bay and an outer doorway for each unit. They have stock brick walls laid in Flemish bond and a slate hipped roof with overhanging eaves. A central stock brick chimney is present. The sash windows have glazing bars and are without horns, set within segmental arches. The doorways also have segmental arches and plain doors. This elevation is a very complete example of its period.
