Description
Todd Brook House is a 16th century and later house with a complex plan. The front range features a timber-framed building that is now roughcast in panels and has two storeys. The roof is ridged, gabled, and hipped, covered with peg tiles, and is topped by two impressive late Elizabethan chimney stacks, each with octagonal shafts. The first storey has three horned sash windows that are clear-glazed, along with one matching sash window on the left side of the ground floor, which is complemented by a modern central door and porch. On the right side, there is a semi-hexagonal bay. The two rear ranges form a U-shape, with the northern range constructed of red brick from the 18th century and the southern range made of gault brick from the 19th century.
