Description

This is an 18th-century barn located north east of Sumner’s Farmhouse. It is framed with pine, featuring jowless posts, side girts, and primary bracing. The roof structure includes purlins, collars, raking struts and tie beams with bracing. The exterior is clad with black weatherboards. The roof is slate-covered, and the barn is five bays long, with a central midstrey on the north-west front.
