Description

Kingsmoor Lodge is a 17th-century house, notable for its colonial-style plan and external appearance. It is two storeys high and has two gabled front elevations. The roofs are ridged and gabled, covered in peg tiles, with overhanging eaves. A central chimney stack, composed of four shafts arranged diagonally and with pilasters, rises above the ridge. The house is timber-framed and originally plastered, though the windows have been replaced with modern casements. An earlier two-storey range extends the main house to form an L-shaped plan.
