Description
Searles Hall is a house built around 1860 to 1870. It is constructed of red brick and features a red pantile roof, designed in an H-plan layout. The building has two storeys and a four-window range with pointed heads. The windows are three-light casements with six main panes, each adorned with crossed glazing bars, and are topped with pointed brick arches. The central door has two lights above it that match the other windows. There is a gabled porch with a red tiled roof supported by red brick columns and brackets. Additionally, there are two attached diagonal shaft chimneys made of red brick. This is an unusual building located in a prominent position.
