Description
No. 122 Church Hill is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and has a roof made of handmade red clay tiles. The building has a rectangular plan and faces southeast, featuring chimney stacks at both gables. At the rear, there is a lean-to extension with chimney stacks at both ends. The house is two storeys high with attics.
The central entrance has a glazed door flanked by stuccoed pilasters and topped with a pediment that includes dentils. There are two double-hung sash windows with 16 lights each, set under segmental brick arches, dating from the late 18th century. On the first floor, there are three double-hung sash windows with 12 lights; one is from the late 18th century, while the other two are reproductions. The building features a parapet with a coping made of flat bricks and has two flat-roofed dormers with six lights each. Overall, the house presents a symmetrical composition.
