Description
Gothic Cottage is a Grade II listed building that was formerly a lodge, dating from the 18th or 19th century. It is constructed of brick and has a rough rendered finish, topped with a grey slate roof featuring a central pediment. The roof includes gable dormers on both the left and right sides, as well as pierced ridge tiles. The dormers and pediment are adorned with ball finials. The cottage is one storey high with attics and has a three-window range of Gothic-headed windows. The pediment features a weatherboarded first floor and glazed infill with Gothic heads above a recessed porch. The return fronts of the building also have matching windows. There are diagonal, two-shaft chimney stacks located on both the left and right sides.
