Description
Yew Tree Cottage is a Grade II listed building that was originally a pair of cottages, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of brick with a pantile roof, featuring a coursed rubble plinth and dentillated eaves. The building has two coped gables with kneelers, and both single gable and single ridge stacks. It stands two storeys high and consists of four bays.
The south front has an off-centre door that is flanked by a single Yorkshire sash window on each side, all of which have segmental heads. To the right of the door, there is a small light and a blocked doorway. On the upper level, there is a Yorkshire sash window to the left and three casement windows to the right.
The rear elevation features a door to the left with a 20th-century lean-to timber porch, flanked by one Yorkshire sash window on the left and two Yorkshire sash windows on the right, all with segmental heads. Above, there is a single 20th-century casement window.
