Description
This is a barn from around 1700, located at Oldhouse Farm, aligned east-west. It features five bays and is timber framed with a thatched fly-hipped roof and a north-facing midstrey. The main posts do not have jowls, and it includes side girts, tie beams supported by hanging knees, and primary braces in the upper walls. The timber is primarily elm, with some re-used oak.
