Description

The barn at Oldhouse Farmyard, dating from around 1700, is a Grade II listed structure aligned north-south. It features five bays and is timber framed in elm, topped with a thatched fly-hipped roof and tiled valleys. The barn has a midstreys facing west, with main posts that lack jowls, high side-girts, and tie-beams supported by hanging-knees, lapped collars, and side-purlins.
