Description

Aldecar is a house dating from around 1800, constructed of red brick in Flemish bond. It stands two storeys high with a hipped roof that is covered in slate. The house features red brick chimney stacks on both the left and right, topped with gault chimney pots. The ground storey has a central front door with six panels and a lion knocker, framed by a wide wooden case and a flat hood supported by consoles. On either side of the door, there are pairs of 8-pane hornless sash windows on both storeys, with the ground storey sashes set beneath segmental red brick arches.
