Description

The Roundhouse is an early 19th-century single-storey circular lodge located on Nayland Road in Great Horkesley. It features a projecting four-centred door and is constructed of gault brick, with arches that have keystones made of stucco. The front has a sunken arch with a stuccoed head, flanked by two wooden casement windows, each with trefoils in the upper corners. The roof is conical and slated, and there is one circular gault brick chimney. A keystone dated 1883 has been inserted into the structure.
