Description
The granary at Oldhouse Farm, dating from around 1700, is a timber-framed building originally consisting of one storey and six bays, with an additional bay added later at each end. It is clad with black weatherboards and features a ridged and fly-hipped thatched roof, with an eyebrow dormer located centrally on the west slope. The structure includes binders positioned close to the eaves, bolted hanging knees, and common joists that are haunch-tenoned. The roof is supported by collars and side purlins.
