Description

The Grove is a building that incorporates a 16th-century block within an 18th-century and later structure. It is two storeys high, timber framed, and plastered, featuring a central front door with a pediment. There are semi-hexagonal bay windows on each side of the front door; the left bay is two storeys tall, while the right bay is one storey. Above the front door is a round-headed sash window, and all windows are eight-pane, hornless, and sash-hung. At the west end, there is a crosswing that has matching windows, with one window above two. The roofs are hipped and covered with peg tiles. The building has four red brick chimney stacks along the half ridge and one on the crosswing.
