Description

South Cottage is an 18th century cottage with a T-plan, which includes a brick extension at the north-west. The east range is two storeys high and features a gambrel roof, while the north-west range is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond. All the roofs are covered with peg tiles. The building has two red brick chimneys. The north front has a panelled door set in a moulded case, topped with a flat hood supported by elaborate brackets. The windows are small-paned sashes, with one on the first storey and one below it on the ground storey.
