Description

Hammond Builders is a 17th century building located on School Lane in Dedham. It features a timber frame with exposed framing and plastered infill. The building is two stories high with attics and has gabled roofs covered in peg tiles. The front has a three-window range of small paned sash windows. There is a two-story porch on the south front, which has a hipped roof and a doorway with a doorcase and entablature. A central red brick stack has been rebuilt. There is also a modern wing added to the south.
