Description

Bakery Cottage is a 17th-century building located on Halstead Road in Eight Ash Green. It features a long range constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with a central red brick chimney stack. The roof is gambrelled and covered with peg tiles. The cottage is one storey high with attics, and it has a tiled lean-to dormer facing the road. To the right, there is a one-storey extension that is ridged and gabled, which also includes two dormers—one centrally located and one on the right. The ground storey has two pairs of small pane casements set under segmental arches.
