Description

The Malting House is an 18th-century building located in Eight Ash Green, Seven Star Green. It features a long range facing the street, constructed from red brick laid in Flemish bond, and is designed in an L-shape. The roof is hipped, ridged, and gabled, covered with peg tiles. A central square plan red brick chimney stack is present. The building has a range of four small-pane sash windows set in exposed boxes. On the first storey, there is a front door located beneath a pedimented hood, accompanied by five pairs of 19th-century sash windows on the ground storey.
