Description

140 and 142 Coast Road is a mid-19th century building that features a timber frame and roughcast exterior, topped with a ridged, gabled roof covered in corrugated iron. The structure has two tall chimneys finished in stucco. On the first floor, there are four windows consisting of pairs of 14-pane hornless sash windows. The north side has two glazing-barred sash windows and a set of three modern casement windows. The building includes a verandah supported by six soft-wood posts and braces, adorned with railway pendants. There are two Victorian doors with glazed tops and one modern door on the south side, along with two sets of casements and one pair of sashes.
