Description

Anchor Cottage is a building dated around 1575, featuring a long range, timber-framed structure with white weather boards. It has one storey with attics and a ridged, gabled roof covered in peg tiles, with a modern red brick chimney located near the center. The south pitch of the roof includes a central flat dormer. The ground storey has a central modern door and a variety of window styles, including three modern casements, a pair of small-pane sashes to the left, two small eaves-level casements, and another small-pane sash. To the right, there is a glazed extension beneath a lean-to roof also covered in peg tiles. The end wall and gable are made of painted brick.
