Description

The White Cottage is an 18th-century building of two storeys, constructed with a timber frame and plastered walls. It has a ridged, gabled, and peg-tiled roof, with a hip ending to the south. Two red brick chimneys are present, one flanking the left gable and another near the apex of the hip. The central ground-floor front door is flanked by four dissimilar modern casement windows with leaded lights. Three segmental pairs of leaded casements are located on the first storey, along with a single pair of casements also on the first-floor level. Applied timber detailing is present. The building is included on the heritage register for its group value.
