Description

The Chequers Inn is an early 17th-century timber-framed and plastered building that has been substantially altered over time. It is a two-storey building with a three-window front, featuring casement windows. A 20th-century addition projects from the east end on the ground floor. The roof is tiled and features a large central chimney stack, now cement rendered. The building is included on the list for its group value, alongside nearby properties and the church.
