Description

Tighshee and Willow Cottage is a house from the 17th and 18th centuries, featuring a cross wing at the north end. The building is primarily weatherboarded, with the first storey of the main block finished in plaster. It has two storeys and attics, with casement windows throughout. The roof is tiled and includes one gabled dormer. The central square chimney stack was rebuilt in the 20th century. Additionally, there is a 20th-century extension on the north side of the cross wing. Tighshee and Willow Cottage is part of a group that includes Cherry Tree Cottages, The Ferns, The Chequers Inn, Broadgates, The Church of St Michael and All Angels, Nos 1 and 2 The Bishops, Cottage End, Burrells Cottage, and Rose Cottage.
