The east side is almost completely altered, with C2O fenestration and sham timber- framing. The house retains its original shape and is picturesque. 2 storeys and attics. The windows are C20 casements with leaded lights. Roof tiled. The chief external features are the 3 fine original chinmey stacks, each with 3 octagonal shafts on a rectangular base with a deep band of moulded brick quatrefoil ornamentation. 2 of the stacks have spurred caps and another stack is rebuilt in facsimile.
