Description

The Granary Block SR5, located at the north end of No 7 (formerly Gray's Brewery) on Springfield Road, is a 19th-century building constructed of stock brickwork. It features six bays and stands four storeys tall. The ground floor is supported by a double row of cast iron columns and has pine joists. The first and second floors have wooden posts that support the joists, with grain bins positioned between them. The roof is rectangular, supported by raking struts, and is covered with slate. The building is aligned in a north-south direction and includes a sack hoist at the top of the southwest side.
