Description

This stable building, located at the north-west corner of the courtyard of No 7 Springfield Road (formerly Gray's Brewery), dates from the mid-18th century and was designed to accommodate two horses. It is constructed of red brick and features two storeys. An external wooden staircase provides access to a loft used for storage. The roof is covered with peg tiles. Inside, there are mangers and stalls, along with remnants of a massive side-purlin roof framing.
