Description

The Rose and Crown Public House is an early 19th century brick building that has been colourwashed. It stands two storeys high and features a five-window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars, set in plain reveals. The ground floor has two canted bays topped with cornices. At the south end, there is a later extension. The roof is slate, hipped at both the north and south ends. The listed buildings around The Green form a group, with nearby structures at numbers 8, 10, 38, 52, and 25 being of local interest.
