Description

A row of cottages dating from the 18th century or earlier, with later alterations. The cottages are timber-framed and have plastered walls. They have a red plain tiled roof with five gabled dormers and three red brick chimney stacks. The cottages are one storey high with attics and feature a nine-window range of small-paned casement windows. There are two doors to the left; one is vertically boarded, and the other is a 20th-century glazed door. A passageway is located to the right. A plaque indicates that the cottages were reconditioned under the provisions of the Housing Rural Workers Act 1926. They are included on the list for their group value in relation to the church and village.
