Description

The structure consists of the remains of an outbuilding, now serving as yard walls, dating from around 1810. These walls are made of red brick laid in Sussex bond, featuring a flared header chequer-work design on the north-west wall. The walls are approximately 1.5 metres high and enclose a yard. Together with other nearby structures, this forms a compact planned farmyard that includes two yards, a central pen, and two small enclosed yards. This arrangement is part of an exceptionally complete farm complex from the Napoleonic War period.
