Description

These railings, located approximately 37 metres south-south-east of the United Reformed Church in Wethersfield, date from the early 19th century. They are made of cast iron and feature a single section of railings topped with fleur-de-lys finials. The railings are supported by two hollow square piers that have intricate designs of scrolls and foliage, although these piers were filled with concrete in the 20th century. The solid iron finials are tented in shape. The railings measure about one metre in length and 0.80 metre in height.
