Description
This octagonal dovecote, dating from the 19th century, is located approximately 30 metres south of Great Slampseys and next to the entrance drive. It is constructed of red brick with gault dressings and features a pointed octagonal roof covered in red plain tiles with lead ridges. The roof includes four tiled gabled dormers, each with loop entrance holes. The walls have two windows and patterned brick openings, and there is a door on the north wall. The loft floor remains intact, making this an interesting and attractive example of its type from this period.
