Description

This boundary stone, located at the triangle of land at the junction of Dagnets Lane and Friar's Farm track in Black Notley, dates back to 1679. It features the incised names 'Whit Notly' on the north side and 'Black Notly' on the south side. This stone is a rare example of a named and dated boundary stone in Essex.
