Description
The Green Dragon is a public house dating from the 18th century. It features a timber frame with rough rendering and a red plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, along with a small single-storey extension on the left, which may have originally been a bake oven. There are two windows on the front, each with vertically sliding sashes that have glazing bars and are set in moulded surrounds. The ground floor windows are adorned with pentice boards. The entrance consists of a central two-panel, two-light door, flanked by fluted pilasters. The frieze includes triglyphs and metopes, and there is a moulded soffit beneath the flat canopy. The building also has central and external left red brick chimney stacks.
