Description

Brook Hall is a house dating from the early 19th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It has a rectangular plan facing southeast, and features two storeys and attics. The ground floor has two splayed bays with early 19th-century sash windows, each with 8-16-8 panes. The first floor has one similar sash window and three further sashes, each with 16 panes. The attic floor contains three sashes, matching the style of those below. The front door is six-panelled, with the upper four panels glazed, set within a recessed entrance and sheltered by a flat-roofed porch supported by two columns. There are four steps leading up to the porch on each side, with iron railings. Additional glazed doors are present under a shallow hood. A low-pitched, hipped slate roof is topped by a parapet and cornice across part of the building's elevation.
