School formerly a house. Early to Mid C19. Yellow Suffolk brick. Hipped grey slate roof to centre range, roof hipped to left and right of lower level left and right wings, that to left with a gabled extension. Projecting eaves with moulded brackets. Four brick chimney stacks to centre range. Iron bell cote to left range. Moulded central band. Two storeys. The centre range with semi- circular bays to right and left. 2:3:3:1:3:3 window range of vertically sliding sashes. Long windows to central bays. Central French window to left range. The central glazed and panelled door with round head and light over, pedimented stone portico with guttae,triglyphs and metopes to frieze, foliate centre panel and moulded acroteria has fluted support columns and pilasters and is approached by steps. Interior contains panelled shutters, dado's, reveals to windows and doors, six panelled doors. Moulded ceiling cornices. Moulded pelmets to some rooms. Fluted architraves with corner patera and pediments to many doors. Marble Adam style fireplaces. Fluted pillars to entrance hall, stairs with wreathed handrail to iron balusters. Moulded ceiling. Wings of a later date to rear and left.
