No. 1 Hedingham Road is a small cottage dating from the 17th or 18th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a thatched roof. The cottage features an external red brick chimney stack on the left side. It is a single-storey building with a two-window range of small-paned horizontal sliding sashes. The central door is vertically boarded and set within a moulded surround.
