Description

29-33 Newland Street is a 17th-century building that features a timber frame and plaster exterior. It stands two stories tall and has four windows, which are double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars set in flush cased frames. The upper storey displays some 19th or 20th-century patterned pargetting. The ground floor has been altered with 20th-century shops. The roofs are tiled. Nos 29 to 33 form a group with Nos 7 to 13 and No 36, known as the George Inn.
