Description
This is a dovecote located approximately 15 meters south-west of Park Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century and converted into a granary in the 18th or early 19th century. The structure is timber framed and covered with weatherboarding, topped with a roof made of handmade red plain tiles. It has a square plan and stands two storeys tall, featuring a roof with gablet hips on the north-east and south-west sides. The original vents have been filled in and rendered. An external ladder provides access to the upper storey on the north-east side. The ground floor's studding has been infilled with brick, except for the north-east wall, which has been altered for vehicle access and later filled with softwood studding. The posts are jowled, and the upper storey is lathed and plastered internally, containing two corn bins from the 18th or early 19th century.
