Cottage. C16 and C18. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with red plain tiles. 2 bays facing S (gable end to street), internal stack at left end, external stack at right end, C19/20 extension forming catslide at rear. 2 storeys. Ground floor, one C19 and 2 C20 sashes of 12 lights. First floor, 2 C18 sashes of 12 lights with crown seconds glass. Plain boarded door. In the larger left bay, chamfered axial beam, plain joists of horizontal section jointed to it with soffit tenons with diminished haunches, jowled posts, originally of one storey with attic, raised by approx. 1.5 metres in C18. The smaller right bay has plain joists of vertical section and full-height unjowled posts. The left bay is the remaining part of a C16 house which formerly extended further to the left, raised and extended as far as the site would allow to the right in the C18. C20 grate in internal stack.
