Description
This is a cottage located approximately 70 meters northwest of Pound Farmhouse, dating from the 16th or 17th century, with later alterations and additions. The cottage is timber framed and plastered, sitting on a brick plinth. It features a red plain tiled roof with a double catslide dormer and has two red brick chimney stacks. The building is one storey with attics and has a three-window range of 20th-century small paned casements, along with a French door to the left. There is temporary covering in the center. Inside, there is a back-to-back inglenook fireplace with a chamfered mantel beam and chamfered bridging joists.
