Description
Notley Place is a 17th century house that was largely rebuilt in the 18th century and renovated in the 20th century. The front is constructed of brick, which is now painted, featuring a plinth and a raised brick band between the storeys. The building has two storeys and attics, with a three-window range consisting of 20th century metal casements that have leaded lattice lights. The ground storey includes a 20th century bay window. There is a six-panel door with glazed upper panels, framed by a reeded wood architrave. On the east side, there are blocked windows and one tall round-headed double-hung sash window with glazing bars. The roof is tiled and includes three flat-headed dormers and a brick dentil course under the eaves.
