Description
Priestfields Farm features a range of byres and stables located approximately 30 metres north of the main house. This structure dates from the 18th to 19th century and is constructed with a timber frame, partially faced in red brick and partially weatherboarded. The roofs are mainly covered with red pantiles, while the central rear range has corrugated asbestos cladding. The building is single storey and has a half H-plan layout, with gabled wings extending to the right and left. The rear stable range includes six doors and a weatherboarded front. The left and right byres consist of three and four open bays respectively, which feature hanging knees supporting the storey posts. This range has good group value with the house and nearby barns.
