Description
Brunswick Cottage and Brunswick House are a pair of attached houses dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. They are constructed of plastered brick and have roofs made of handmade red plain tiles. The houses face northeast and are arranged in a single range with two rear stacks. The larger part on the left is Brunswick House, while the smaller part on the right is Brunswick Cottage. Both houses are two storeys tall.
Brunswick House features one late 18th-century sash window with 12 lights and one mid-19th-century sash window with 6 lights on the ground floor. On the first floor, it has one of the former and two of the latter. The central door has six fielded panels, a plain overlight, and a moulded pediment. Above the door, there is a rosette set in plaster, which may be made of cast iron.
Brunswick Cottage has one late 18th-century sash window with 12 lights on the ground floor and one mid-19th-century sash window with 6 lights on the first floor. Its door and doorcase are similar to those of Brunswick House. There is a plain plaster band above the first-floor windows and a plain parapet across the full elevation. The roof is hipped at both ends, and there are rear extensions.
