Description
Brunswick Lodge is a house built in the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It features a timber frame that is plastered and weatherboarded, topped with a slate roof. The building has a double range plan, with an internal stack at the left end of the front range and an external stack at the rear, along with a 20th-century single-storey extension at the back.
The house is two storeys high and has a two-window range of mid-19th century sashes, each with four lights. The entrance includes a five-panel door, where the top three panels are glazed, framed by a moulded architrave, a pulvinated frieze, and a moulded pediment. The left side of the building is mainly weatherboarded and partly plastered, with the exposed surface of the end stack painted. On the first floor, there are two late 18th-century sashes with twelve lights each. The roof is low-pitched and hipped on the left side.
